6 Days Amboseli, Tsavo West, Taita Hills & Tsavo East Safari

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi heading south towards Amboseli National Park.Enjoy scenic views of the countryside and local villages along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway before arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon proceed for your first game drive in Amboseli, famous for large elephant herds and stunning Mount Kilimanjaro views. Wildlife expected includes elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and buffaloes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Spend the entire day exploring the beautiful landscapes of Amboseli National Park. Morning and afternoon game drives offer excellent opportunities to spot elephants, cheetahs, lions, hyenas and many bird species. Visit swamp areas where wildlife gathers to drink and cool off during the heat of the day. Enjoy breathtaking photography opportunities with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Dinner and overnight at the safari lodge.

After breakfast depart Amboseli and drive to Tsavo West National Park. Tsavo West is known for volcanic hills, lava flows, springs and abundant wildlife. Visit the famous Mzima Springs where crystal-clear water emerges from underground springs. Watch hippos, crocodiles and fish through the underwater viewing chamber. Enjoy an evening game drive searching for elephants, leopards, lions and antelopes. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast drive to the scenic Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive in time for lunch at the famous Salt Lick Safari Lodge, one of Kenya’s most unique safari lodges. The lodge overlooks waterholes frequently visited by elephants, buffaloes and antelopes. Enjoy an afternoon game drive within the sanctuary searching for lions, elephants and giraffes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast continue to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest national park. Tsavo East is famous for the legendary red elephants colored by the park’s red soil. Enjoy extensive game drives across the vast plains searching for elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, ostriches and giraffes. Visit scenic attractions including Aruba Dam where animals gather to drink water. Dinner and overnight stay at the safari lodge.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive for the final wildlife viewing experience. Return to the lodge for breakfast before departing for Nairobi.
