Day 1
Nairobi – Great Rift Valley – Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with a brief viewpoint stop where conditions allow. Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park and arrive in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, enjoy an extensive game drive around the lake, acacia woodland and open grasslands. Look for white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, lions and abundant birdlife, including flamingos when water conditions are favourable.
Day 2
Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi
Begin with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Visit selected viewpoints and wildlife areas such as Baboon Cliff, the lakeshore and Makalia Falls depending on road and weather conditions. Return for breakfast, check out and enjoy a final game drive as you leave the park. Drive back to Nairobi and arrive in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel, residence or the agreed location.
