Day 1
Mombasa / Diani Beach – Tsavo West National Park
Early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, cruise terminal or Moi International Airport. Drive toward Tsavo West National Park and enter the park for a game drive through rolling hills, lava landscapes and acacia woodland. Visit Mzima Springs, where clear water attracts hippos, crocodiles, fish and numerous birds. Continue to your lodge for check-in, lunch and an afternoon game drive in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, leopards and other wildlife.
Day 2
Tsavo West – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Tsavo West before departing for Amboseli National Park. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check-in. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive across Amboseli’s open plains and wetlands beneath the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Look for large elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and abundant birdlife.
Day 3
Amboseli – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary – Salt Lick Safari Lodge
Begin with an early morning game drive when Mount Kilimanjaro is often clearly visible. Return for breakfast, check out and drive toward Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive for lunch and check-in at Salt Lick Safari Lodge or a similar property. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the sanctuary, searching for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and antelopes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight while watching wildlife gather near the waterholes.
Day 4
Taita Hills – Mombasa / Diani Beach
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary when animals are most active. Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out and enjoy a final game drive as you leave the sanctuary. Drive back to Mombasa or Diani Beach, stopping for lunch en route depending on the schedule, and arrive in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel, residence or airport.
